As standard we make our Timber Barns so they are planning compliant . Which basically means they are under 2.5m max height .
This has certain restrictions mainly the position the door can be sited . Only in the Shaped narrow section .
This is due to the nesessaty to get the correct angles on the roof .
The sides ( eves ) end up being around 5ft 4inch or so at the lowest part . It is still posible to have windows but they will be at a lower level than we would have in our Workshop Range
We suggest having the narrower security style window , set as high up as possible if you require natural light . Simply let us know your concerns or issues and we will come up with a solution !
It is possible to have doors and windows in the side walls , but this will mean increasing the hight of the side walls .
The one major issue will be you can not have this hight building within 2 m of ANY boundary on your property so it will need to be sited further into your site . Or you will need to apply for planing consent
Secondly it will cost around 10% more to increase the height throughout the whole of the building.
You will clearly have much more flexibility with this taller building as long as you are aware of its limitations for where you can have it .
We are Flexable and Hands on
Unlike most suppliers we are NOT middle men , you can talk to us and ask any question relating to this ort of building and get a stright answer from people who know what they are doing .
No slik sales men working on commision , no teles sales team working of a scrip !
