The Roof and Floor are the same as all our Basic Garden Sheds 12mm Scandinavian Soft wood . The reason for this is although Cedar Wood is from the Hardwood family of timbers , it is actually a very soft timber so would not stand up to any walking on be leave it or not - strange! .
This may seam a bit strange but is fact.
Our Frame work again is Scandinavian 50mm x 50mm so a very substantial it is stained to a glow light brown to held in with the cedar shade .
You may see the untreated doors and windows on the summerhouse image to the left of this content . Some people like it some people do not ? It is simply a matter of preferance .
Unfortunately due to the very high cost and low usage of cedar now days we do not make our joinery doors and windows out of cedar as you can see in this image.
We beleave there is still one manufacturer left in Uk who does this , but at a hefty premium !
